Student Branch

IEEE Student Branch of Heera College of engineering and Technology was formed in 2015 under the effort & guidance of Mrs. Srilekshmy, assistant professor, CSE department. There are 20 members in the SB from CS, EEE and ECE departments working hard towards achieving technological excellence and ethical discipline. The student branch has conducted many technical events including workshops, paper presentation and also initiated joint ventures with NSS and IEDC of HCET.

IEEE Student Branch of Heera College of Engineering & Technology organized a one day workshop on ‘Professional Video Editing’, in the college, on 22nd April 2016. The workshop aimed to enlighten the participants on the present trends in video editing and also to introduce them to the professional video editing software, ‘Premiere Pro’.


Seminar on Cyber Security

An interactive session on Cyber Security was conducted by Mr. RS Nithin, Webmaster IEEE Asia Pacific Region 10. He explained about the various cyber security threats arising in the modern world. Also he mentioned about various methods to avoid getting siphoned of our personal data. "
