Department of Science and Humanities was established in 2010. A highly qualified faculty require_onces 4 Doctorates and 2 research guides to make sure the best education is at the student's disposal. The dedicated staff keep themselves abreast of the latest trends in mathematical applications, Physics and chemistry by taking part in workshops, National and International conferences. The department plays a key role in laying foundation for the young aspirants of Engineering and Technology to become a complete Engineer. The department consists of four branches, viz Eng. Mathametics, Eng. Physics, Eng. Chemistry and Humanities. All the subjects are taught by highly experienced faculty, who provide the youth, the basis of science for engineering applications. The core objectives of the department are to impart students with logical thinking, analytical reasoning and problem solving skills; to equip them with more technological skills and scientific computing techniques based on mathematical methods to meet the growing demand in the industrial, marketing and communication sectors; to widen their horizon of knowledge with a focus on research papers; focus on value based education for intellectual enhancement to suit the context of globalization; introduce realistic application of Mathematics in related sciences; and counseling and guidance to the budding engineers to make them well equipped to face the society and acquire good jobs in campus placement.
